View Full Version : Whitehorse Trophy - Box Hill
Now, you DVA people have been making a poor appearance at tournament lately. You have a few 1300+ shooters in your ranks and you have a chance to stage an upset of the "big four". Or even to rattle the powers that be in Ladies Compound, with Erika posting those scores.
Yes, the round is a FITA 1440. I will be there, several other Sherbrooke and Moorabbin Members with be there and we want to see you there too.
Marcus, you're a sponsored shooter now, you need to make an appearance and perhaps a statement.
DVA is looking like a hotbed of up and coming stars but we need to see them at the shoots!!!!
I'll see you there and we'll see how big the scores can be.... :cool

HAHA :)
Yeah I will be there, so will my wife. We have about 6 entries this time around.
Still getting on top of this UltraTec, have not shot it outdoors yet, damn weather has been Awful down here on the weekends. :( . If it doesn't improve I'll be up at 5am for a few morning to shoot before work.
My contract says nothing about an appearance. ;), however I have not shot a Fita comp in 8 years and really want to, so let's hope I can shoot it well.
Here is hoping the weather holds out.

Not any 1300 shooters coming from our club (YVA), but what we lack in quality we make up in quantity (about 14). My wife will also be shooting (2nd Grade).
See you all there.

Well Luke may not be coming so it may be only me, Erika and Ray who have shot 1300 before. David isn't coming due to his ankle (which he broke at the start of the year.
I havn't shot 1300 this year and have not shot my current bow outdoors, so I could suck. :) Erika's shooting 1st class because she hasn't shot a competition with a compound yet (she shot recurve for about 10 years in Tassy).
So DVA will either do well or we'll be crap. :) But it's cool, should be a fun shoot, looking forward to this one and the Yarra Silver Star.
AHHH good to see some interest... I'll see you there...

Well latest news is that I will be going but not shooting. In fact I'm out of action for 4-6 weeks at least with tendonitis of my left shoulder. I had it when I was a junior and could barely draw a bow back then. I can shoot about 10 arrows now before it starts getting too uncomfortable to use. This is a major blow for me as I came back to archery after getting sick of injuries in grid iron. :( :( :( The first diagnosis was 3-6 months so if it's 4-6 weeks I'll be rapt. Pretty much written this year off, and I'll miss out on finishing the indoor league.
Bad lthing about getting old is that you go soft! :mad

G'day all, I've been away on hunting holidays, but I'm back to reality now.
I'll be going to Box Hill this Sunday as long as the weather isn't too bad :eek
:Dyep, I'm a fair weather shooter!:D
I've registered and paid, so as long as its not bucketing down I'll be there.
