Chris,

Try stanislawski's website (you'll need to look it up, it can't remember)

The luxor was designed for small fingers (it is a very small release aid. In fact it is a "3 and a 1/2 finger model" it has a place to put your pinky finger. Its best for kids and some women, but by all means try it. They are by the way only $100 Australian brand new.

My girlfriend has one. They are damned good, as are all Stan releases.

Marcus would the release be any good for a 13 year old?

Is it a back tension release, if so how do they work, and would they be suitable for some one who has never shot a release before?

Yes and yes.
They are excellent for those who have not shot a release before because they teach you to shoot correctly from day one. They are suitable for a 13 year old because they are small and go well with small hands.
To shoot one you draw back with most of your weight on your index finger. Use the inside of your middle finger and your thumb to help draw it back.
At full draw apply your other fingers and release your thumb. Keep pulling back with the shot till it goes off. Should be a suprise release.

One of my boys would like to shoot sights and release, Maybe in the near future we may try it out.

So I am looking around to see what is suitable and affordable. If I collect a bit at a time it will be easier to afford.

Starting on a release should not be taken lightly. I'll start a thread in tuning and shooting form on it.
