Some one once posted what several here thought was the definitive shot sequence, from picking up bow to last arrow, but I can't find it. Could they repost or point me to it . Thanks

If you don't have some funky little arrow twirl, you just aren't with it.

Do you shoot recurve? If so, it's called "TOTAL ARCHERY."

Keep it simple first...

start from picking the arrow, knocking the arrow, raising the bow (includes draw for some), drawing the string, anchoring, holding and aiming, expanding, release, follow up, and analyze the shot.

Now that's already a complex list. There could be other sub steps in the anchoring, holding, aiming or expanding that you might want to pay attention too but that's the basic that I've learned from KSL's (and RdB's) Total Archery. When you get all these in synch and performing them with fluidity, it becomes easy to learn more complex things.

Whatever you do, write it down. You can then analyse at a later time. I know for one that often when I let down and do not renock the arrow, I get to full draw and think 'Damn, I did not renock this arrow'. Straight away I am behind the 8 ball as I am thinking extraneous rubbish.

1. Shoot a 10

i thought it was a 3 step process

1. Try and shoot a 10
2. If you have not shot a ten repeat step 1, otherwise goto step 3
3. Pack up and go home on a high note.
