Sight position

At what position do we put our sight pin when measuring peep to sight?
I believe when we put the sight pin at 90m and 30m would give different reading. So, what would be the best position to put the sight pin? at 90m.., 70m..., 50m...???

You are correct that with most sights the peep-sight distance will change slightly as the sight is moved up and down the sight bar. This makes a very small difference to the calculated arrow velocity. However, the change in calculated sight settings is very small indeed, so we can ignore it.
I just use a setting somewhere in the middle of the ranges I shoot, eg 50M. But it is not at all critical.
