Marcus we have a serious lack of juniors on the website.
I'm not a junior (miss by about 7 years) and so like to leve this part of the forum alone...however, when Marcus reads this I am happy for him to read my thoughts on this matter (though it might belong in a more restricted part of the forum  )
I don't think it helps that there is a lot of really crass BS getting round on this forum these days. It was good when it was just a couple of blokes who knew eachother having a go at eachother, but its become Crass....
In many ways, its all a bit too 'adult' on this forum...
Some of the juniors, like yourself Maranoa, appear to be very mature and capable of putting things clearly into perspective, however, its got to be understood that not every 15 kid is the same.......
Any way, theres a couple of thoughts....
On another note though, I know of a junior or two that 'lurk' on this forum, so perhaps we need more work at tournaments to promote this forum to juniors, and perhaps do so through parents etc...

Great good on ya.
Just when i get all excited.
BTW no need to call me "kid"
He he he!!
You are too easy to rile up Maranoa!!!
Its fun to call someone a kid!! I was one not so long ago (not as long ago as Marcus :P ) I am 24, but seem to still have the maturity of a 14 year old at times....its a bit sad really....
Well, you do seem quite mature!! At least, I've noticed you have a very 'mature' command of the English language. This is something I can't help but respect.....

Maranoa, maybe there is a lack of juniors on this site becasue most juniors are out at parties or at the beach or with friends. Don't you ever do that?

Yeah, but not 24/7...
I didn't even know this site existed till a mate told me about that - I think there is a serious lack of knowledge about this site in the archery community

Yeah Paddywack, I'm hoping to address that in 2003, just need the funds to put into marketing it. In the meantime tell everyone you know in archery to visit. Send around emails etc etc and from there more will post, content will grow and much fun will be had by all.
What's this friends thing I keep hearing about?

im sure that a small add in the next australian archer should raise public awareness quite dramatically. It only takes one person in a club to see archery-forum before the whole club knows about it.

Yeah I have been seriously considering that. $25 and I'ld do it, but $50 makes me stop, especially for a low circulation black and white publication for a non-profit website. Have to wait for some spare cash to come in at that price.

you could spread the word around at nationals (juniors and seniors). that doesnt cost anything, and if there is going to be 100 archers in perth + officials then its a good start.

Hey guys, It's me, one of your "newbies" I have a bunch of friends at my school who love archery but don't have any way to learn. I could "hook them up" for you guys (it's a private school, so I'm allowed) if you want me to. It would be a LOT of juniors. Maybe too many...? I know, I'm so nice....that you know of...
