Just running some things buy everyone here.
Firstly I have added an extra feature to the Reviews page. Now you can provide your own 5 star rating to someone elses review. For example withthe Accurate Sights program there was lots of good comments so when you comment you can leave a star rating, then each item will have a rating from the first reviewer as well as a rating from everyone else combined. Still working out kinks so bare with it.
Thanks BTW to everyone who has added and commented on reviews, your input makes it useful.

Secondly I will probably shut down the Scoreboard for a while. It has been up for a year and is alot of work. I want to keep it, but maybe in a way that doesn't use as much resources on the server (it uses 3 DB's) So it may come back, but will be taken down after a week or so.

Finally the Diamond Pile entry form is online, needs more work, will get to ASAP, however you can enter now, so please jump to it! :)

Thanks again.

Hi Marcus!

Just thought I'd drop in and post from my funky new PowerBook!!! :) while I look for apple apps etc...:D

The new feature on the reviews section sounds great!

But it's a shame that the scoreboard had to go. One of my favourite parts of the site. Oh well, hopefully you can find a way to bring it back sometime and use less resources. ;)

Cheers!

Go Powerbook!! :) :D :cool :cool

Well if we have enough call for it I may leave it up. Rather think of a better way of doing it. I'm going nuts on using files instead of databases for everything right now. I only have a 50 database limit on my server till I move to mySQL, when I do I can bring it back.

Hi Marcus , I have enjoyed looking at your site you guys should be congratulated for a great job . Unfortunately work will keep me away from the diamond pile this weekend but I will be at the seminar next weekend .

Luke , we all know your opinion about the bino's , try and put some ideas on paper (well thought out constructive thoughts ) and I will bring them up at national next year . Bino's were raised again this year but the arguments used were bloody lame . we need to get solid suggestions , not " It will make it quiker and safer shoot " this is an example raised by a delegate from nsw

Thanks for the feedback Bruce, look forward to seeing you at the talk next week. I may be on video duty for the whole thing :rolleyes

It's a shame that the real arguement for using binos is that it makes the sport more fun, interesting that you can't use that as an arguement. :(

I agree with Luke and all the others about bino's , It was bought up again at the national agm again this year ,but was defeated as the branch that put the motion forward hadn't thought through there arguments properly . I can see that I am going to have some clashes , with the heirarchy next year :confused I hope that I don't dig to deep a hole for myself
