Marcus, regarding the 2nd of feb shoot, can AV members roll up and shoot if they are not DVA members. If so how much are the fees? Have been out to the club once to have a peek but would love to have ago at your field course.I'm currently looking for a field club, currently at MAC.

Good on yer Marcus
Remember "Build good courses and the archers will come"
your 3D shoots are making an impact, if you have trouble maintaining a high score you know you can buy a Mathews.

Well another good fun shoot was had. results are seen here

Sten Nigol shooting his new UltraTec took a 1 point lead after the first round to myself. Sten was shooting semi marked, however deserves credit as it was a 2 arrow round and he consistantly adjusted well or would put his second shot next to his first.
Liang Khaw was shooting his first ever 3D and stormed out of the gates in the first round.
Second round started tough for the 2 leaders with Sten dropping 2 misses and Marcus washing a target and missing another arrow. Meanwhile Cameron Brewer, who shooting his first fully unmarked round needed to catch up from a 66 point first round, was picking every target well.
Alan Williamson was also playing some catch up after the first round, however a miss on target 6 may have cost him the win.
An excellent 93 from Cameron on the second round took him from equal 6th to first narrowing holding off Alan W. Sten and Marcus tied with Sten winning on hits.
Another challenging course with quite a few shots between trees and branches and challenging target placements made this one of the best rounds to date. Thanks to everyone involved in getting the course setup. We are hoping to do another in April.

It was a really well layed out course and really tough!!

Anyone looking to shoot some 3D should definatly keep their eyes on this thread to see when the next shoot will be. It's a lot of fun! (especially when you shoot a 93!)

Yeah but geez you were complaining when you had shot the 66!! :P :P
Another fun thing about 3D, you can be out and then someone gets stumped on a target and you are back in the game!!
