Probably one of the most beneficial things I have done in my archery career (except getting Nockhunter as a coach). Allowed me to make the jump from high 80s to high 90s in the ratings. great stuff, just dont let Sten have it.

Yes, it's a good one, and I'm currently re-reading it. I've not had much success in applying what he says, but that's my fault rather than his.

Some nice anecdotes about Darrell Pace in it.

I read it a few years ago and recently acquired a copy again. A good read all about how to focus on the positive aspects of performance. Very applicable to all the shooting sports and addresses many issues about the psychology of performance at all levels.

I have read this one just recently. It's helped me even my scores quite considerably. After reading the book I shot 17 personal bests on indoor rounds in about a months time.

The only draw back that I've noticed, is the lack of a plan to workout technical errors in your form. It talks about it, in the book, but I felt like it was leading me to ignor the problem. When things are wrong you need to admit it and make changes. This tends to clash in my mind with the concept of managing positively what you think about.

Cheers,
Pete

I believe that its not hard to be positive about changing your form - after all, you're making a change that (ideally) will result in better shooting/scores, and a positive attitude is indeed required in order to make difficult form changes, to tolerate all of the crap shooting that you will do in order to improve.

Marcus,

LANNY BASSHAM, OLYMPIC AND TWO TIME WORLD CHAMPION
Which sport - was it archery?

Also I like the 'Click to enlarge' feature - it enlarges the pic by about 10%
