I'll be VERY interested in seeing what you think of the Command Cam +. I havn't seen em yet so I'm itching to get a look at them. So what spec did you get? Limbs, colour etc etc.
:) :D :) :cool :cool

The bow feels awsome . I have the command cam + , 3000 limbs , fade blue riser . it is set on 58# at around 29 inch draw length. My stiff ace were to short for it so I tried my 500 acc but they seemed abit soft. The bow almost looks like it has a single cam on each end. by the look of it it should kick like a mule but it doesn't.
Hopefully Peter will be got some stiffer arrows in yesterday so I can pick up some to set up to shoot after christmas

Yeah I cranked mine right up the other day to chrono it and it felt the same at 58# as it did when I took it down to 45#. Just sweet. What size CC wheels are you running? Must be number 3's at that length.

yep number 3 wheels. but they are really weird .
What sort of speed were you getting at 58# ? :confused
Mine doesn't feel fast , maybe its because it is so smooth

I've just ordered two Cybertecs, one for me and one for Hayley. Both XT2000, command cams, only different in draw length, poundage and color :D
I heard Marcus say tonight that you said the new command cams were quite a bit different Bruce.
They look a little more radical than the old ones, what are your impressions on the new command cam?
Cheers,
Luke.

Luke , I really like the cam so far . It is shaped to give you a positive stop at full draw . It shoots alot smoother that it looks .
I haven't really tested it that much yet . I have only shot 60 or so arrows at indoor and they weren't matched properly to the bow . although by the end of the night the groups were coming . It is a very stable bow to aim with and extremely light in the hand . I am looking forward to giving it a burn over the break . I am going to fletch up some long 430 ace to try . Peter still hasn't got my cartel arrows on to try .
Seasons greetings to you all .
What made you choose the cybertech??
I haven't seen a catalogue yet . might go to the web site and check them out
cheers Bruce

Well I went and had a small play with the new Command Cam + and the new Dual Track Idler wheel from Hoyt today.
Firstly, the dual track wheel looks very nice. They require the strings to be setup the same like a dual wheel bow but Hoyt has marked the wheels so you can setup quickly and easily.
I shot them on a MagnaTec with ZR200 limbs which is not the world's ideal test model. But without a stabilizser there was little movement in the hand and low vibration. (A TEC bow with a stabilizer has NO vibration) The Dual track Idler seems to really cut back on the bow moving left and right in the hand. Quite nice.
Here are some points before I talk about the Command Cam + wheels.
People like single Cam's partly due to:
ROCK solid back wall
sharp return to peak weight if you creep, makes some feel that this helps prevent them creeping.
Command Cams are liked:
Very very smooth draw and shoot
good back wall
Now the command Cam + is a conbination of the 2. The back wall is a ROCK, really solid. And if you creep it's right back to peak. But it has the stability of the dual wheel setup and is very very smooth to draw.
I was unsure about the Command Cam +'s when I saw them but I can say they are really good looking wheels. I will probably change my COmmand Cams to them when I get a spare set.

BTW Bruce I got 255 fps from my UltraTec. This was with Carbon Techs. We put through a PSE Quantum as well (which has limbs about half the length of mine so it should be alot faster) and it was 261 fps. Don't care too much about speed but it's not too bad seeing as it's a 41" bow.

Hi Bruce,
Thanks for the reply, I'm currently shooting an AccuTec at the moment, and although I love this bow (it's great for target, which I've shooting a little bit) it really is pretty slow. So having like what I've seen in the Ultratecs that are around, and the fact that I love the Hoyt I-beam riser design, but wanting something a bit quicker, I thought the CyberTec would be the logical choice for unmarked field.
I plan to keep the Accutec and use it for target, indoor and marked field, and the CyberTec will be the 3D, ABA unarked field bow.
I think the Cybertec looks like the pick of the bunch out of the current Hoyt catalogue for this kind of shooting because it has the hallmarks of a pretty quick bow without looking to radical.
Hayleys bow is to replace her current PSE Spyder, which has been good so far, but it's time to get something a bit nicer, so hopefully the CyberTec will give Hayley the performance she needs at her relatively short draw and light poundage.
... I'm looking forward to getting the bows in mid-January, so I'll let you all know how the CyberTec is.
mmmmm Fade Blue for Hayley, and Fade Red for me :p
:D:D:D

Shot some IFAA field with the bow today , not properly tuned and still getting used to its feel , shot 2 points less than my pb . I'm going to enjoy this bow I think .
Ran my sight settings through alans computer getting around the 286 mark at my draw length and 58 # using some 430 ace .
It is a very nice bow to aim and I really think that it is going to preform very nice
