new Mathews

here is what I have read so far on the oter forums, can anyone add to this?

LX bow--is like legacy with a new cam, lighter than legacy, new limb cup(0 tolerance), adjustable letoff, improved rollerguard, 35" ATA, 317IBO@65%letoff

Conquest 3 bow--new limb cup, nomore limb lean or twisting of the limbs. I have heard 2 differnt desciptions of this bow. I have heard its a conquest 2 with rollerguard and concentric cam(Icon) and I have heard its a conquest 2 with the new cam, no rollerguard,no string suppressors. So I do not know yet on this bow- can someone clarify?

Rival pro,MQ1,MQ32 are gone.

I also heard that all new Mathews will come with an arrowrest, either drop away or regular.

This info was from people that are attending the ATA show and then posting on the diferent forums.

Thats pretty much all the info I could find, the conquest3 im not sure; Mathews has yet to release it so I guess well wait and find out. The BM2 isnt the fastest bow ever, mathews just says that. I think they revised it to be a little more 'forgiving' I think Mathews just wants to corner the market on the large variety of people that infatuated by speed and big numbers.

Someone please find their marketing muppet and beat him over the head with a chronograph until he dies. And tell him how fast he's being hit while you do it.

330 plus is not a number - I want to know HOW MUCH plus. As in, if it's only 330 plus 8, sod it. On the other hand, if it's 300 plus about 40, then that's a lot more interesting.

Well said shirt, last time I used a chrono it didnt display a 'plus' after the reading.

LX is the new offering. New LX cam (new High Performance straight line cam with ball bearings and adjustable let off(65 or 80%). New V-Lock limb pocket to eliminate any limb play. Has roller guard. 35" ATA, 315fps IBO @80% , 317 fps @65%.
Legacy, Icon, SQ2, Q2, Q2XL, Ultra 2, FX, Sportsman, all no change.
Conguest 3 only change is V-lock limb pockets.
Black Max2 added string supressors, rated at 330 fps IBO.
Those are all of the changes and additions for Mathews. There are no rests included on any of them. Yes Rival Pro, MQ1, MQ32 are history.

there is no new colors. Hambone has pretty much summed it up. There are a few things though that I can add. The blackmax2 comes with dampners now. Mathews has a new carbide set of dampners that weigh twice as much as the brass ones do. There is a new tan shooter shirt in the apparel dept. So now there is only 3 bows that do not have the dampners in them(fx,sportsman,genisis).
