are they legal or illegal? they dont find ranges but they do help you find out shot angles ? :-?

I had a look at the rules and couldn't see anything against them. But that is only my opinion.

I am in the why bother group. 7 degrees at 55 yards is about .6 of a yard. Rarely would you see greater than 20 degrees. If you can guess distance this accurately in the first place, you are a super man.
