Alcock & Pierce in Melbourne has had the pleasure of helping John Dudley from Mathews USA in getting a Switchback XT in record time. After a frantic couple of phone calls from Eagle archery and quick driving from Jim Parkes, John arrived at Alcock & Pierce to get a 70lb, 30 inch draw.
It was a very busy saturday morning before the IFAA nationals and we were short staffed just to top it off, but it all ran smoothly.
We had John's Switchback XT ready for him when he arrived in a matched package with quality Mathews accessories. A couple of adjustments by John and he was in the range and paper tuning bullet holes first shot!
John will be out hunting this same saturday afternoon and we wish him all the best of luck for today and next week at the nationals. Lets hope all the aussies put on a good show for him and make it a great competition.
Alcock & Pierce was proud to help John out and all round it was a great team effort to pull off the challenge off at short notice.
Special mention of thanks to Bruce Perrin at the shop for helping out with Johns bow and at the same time serving and answering all the phone calls.

Good luck everyone at the Nationals.

So the precedence has been set. We'll all expect the same treatment for us lowly aussies too. :D

I had the pleasure of taking John out to hunt Fallow. He didn't bring his hunting bow as he didn't think he would be doing any.

Well done to Alcock and Pierce for getting him sorted out :D :D

Lucky bugger the deer just seem to walk up to him. Must have wanted to check out the strange sounding human :D :D

It doesnt suprise me that the deer seemed to love him. In the seminar he showed us pictures of at least 9 deer that walked right next to his house, and a flock of turkey that did the same... i mean honestly, he can hunt from his balcony.. :o
