Wingen is a great shoot. I don't expect I'll be there this year. Too close to the WFAC (That's costing heaps just so I can be an also-ran). :lol:

Turn left at the top pub in Merriwa, not the bottom pub. :wink: :)

However the road I remember as fun to drive in those days, 30 years ago when I was a local, is probably still sh*t, and as you will be driving about 230 km from your location, you would probably be best to go through Cassilis, Merriwa and the 'brook, then take take the New England to Scone.

Wingen used to be clearly marked on road signs for its' "burning mountain". Others will need to give you directions to the field range location.
