I shoot a Bowtech but I would recommend you look at the Mathews Genesis for the purpose you have in mind. No let off means it can be shot between 18-28" without adjustment. For beginners they are perfect. The Rapture is a nice bow but is modular and requires you to press the bow and change modules for each archer. It is also limited to 26"+ draw lengths.
Look here for more Genesis info; (btw dont let the 20# draw fool you they spit arrows out equal to a 35# recurve)

the Rintec is a kids/intermediate bow he needs a compound that will adjust to a variety of draws, the Genesis reigns supreme there, plus he is in Portugal so posting a second hand compound from Australia may not be viable

Psss, Dingoes, have you seen or shot a Rintec before? It's adjustable WITHOUT a press from 18 to 26 inches and it sure as hell ain't going to lose out to a Rapture.
Plus it has a proper letoff which the Genesis doesn't.

Psssss, Progen, I hope your English is better than my Malay, coz I distinctly said the Rapture needed to be pressed NOT the Rintec, which is a fine bow....for a kid
Iscap Boy gave us the impression he was looking for a bow that would cover all-comers, which BECAUSE of the no-letoff design the Genesis would do just that. I didnt think Id have to defend my advice/opinion by someone other than which it was intended.

Psss, just because I'm in Malaysia doesn't mean I'm Malay.

I was merely replying to the highlighted part. Take it easy, man.

ppssstttt both of you, Dingos is spot on, the Genisis rocks, but if you want a draw stopped bow Browning beats em both. 18-28" adjustment, no press required and cheap as chips.

Pssss, ok. This seems to be a new trend now. Anyway, ok, here's my little recurver's bit. I've shot the Genesis before. Quite a lot in fact when I was playing around waiting for my first recurve to arrive. Felt it more of a toy actually.

pppsssttt but as someone who is involved with putting people through beginenrs curse who range from 4 foot tall up to 6'6" tall you need something easy to adjust quickly.

Pssss, ok ok. Maybe we have an easier time where I am because we Asians typically do not have such a wide range, heightwise.

What Browning have that range of draw lenght?
The Micro Midas, isn't it?

Pssss, both of the Micros have that capability, iscap. The Micro Midas and Micro Adrenaline.
I wonder how it'd be like for the adult shooters to shoot a 28 inch drawlength with a 6 1/2 inch brace height though. Should would be one nice fast arrow.
ps. I had to add in the Pssss. Quiet post.

Psss, that'd be more useful to those in their late teens onwards then. Will there be some efficiency decrease with the cams allowing such a huge range in drawlength adjustment?
