My son has a Hoyt MT Sport 2003, 40 - 50lb, ZR200 limbs, Cam.5 module C3. He needs more draw length. If I change the cams to E5 and strings / cables to get the extra length, what effect will this have on draw weight of the bow?
Anyone got suggestions on other options?

IF BRICKLAYERS CAN LAY BRICKS. THEN WHY CAN'T PLUMBERS LAY PLUMS?
...'cause then they'd be called plumblayers, not plumbers...

You should be able to change the cam to a lobger one without affecting the limb wight, however hoyt cams are both expensive and hard to get, plus you would need to change the strings. For the $350-$450 it would cost to do you may be better off buying him a new bow.

if you are very patient you can aquire second hand cams from archery talk, or even on AF eventually. i myself haev jsut purchased a new set of cams (new from america (cheap)), if you buy everything here in AUS brand new cams are around 385 and strings 130, whereas secind hand cams can be between 100- 200, AUS, and strings can be made for cheap, some nice people will even make you a set for $8, how nice are they :D !!.
