View Full Version : Limb coating rubbed and chipped off can you repair?

I have a Mathews bow and the coating or paint on the limbs has rubbed off and is chipped in some places is their a way to touch up the limb and if so what to use? :roll:

I wouldn't bother chief. As long as the limb itself is not cracking it is just cosmetic.

I guess if you realy wanted too you could use some Goth nail polish (got any blacker) :wink:

The kind of two part epoxy finish used in fishing rod building works beautifully. It's still pliable after curing so it won't slow down the limbs or crack off after a while.
I know Border will re-do there limbs for you (at a price). I'd suggest giving mathews a call and seeing what they can do. But like the other guys have said, it is only cosmetic.
