I have a new conquest apex with a 28 in draw length. How do I shorten it for about 1/4 inch without severely affecting BH and ATA? My dloop is already short about 1/2 inch...

Twist your String or take twist out of your cable, this will shorten draw length. I did this just recently for a customer, watch out for the cam timing, you want the dot about 5mm above the edge of bottom limb for 28 " . Most probably it will be under rotated , just twist the cable up to rotate cam around then check your brace and poundage once bow is maxed out , I check ATA last. I wouldn't be concerned too much if it's out 1/8 , anymore and it could be a problem. Failing that, try a 27.5" cam! Good luck .
