Copper john ants tightness

I have just purchased a copper john ants fita sight the windage and elevation are extremly tight is this normal :roll:

Yeh the same thing happened with me, so i think its normal, its now loosened up a bit.

You need to adjust the teflon bushes on the slides, simply loosen the grub screws then tighten to desired tension.

Rob's comment refers to the elevation.

The windage on mine started out pretty snug (actually quite tight) but within a few weeks bedded in to a lovely smooth, snug click.

The Copper John's tolerances are a good thing, rather than starting out loose and smooth, and ending up with sloppy muck that rattles within it's first year of operation.
