It is ok to use d-loop for target shooting,if is ok then witsh d-loop I need to use.

Most compound target shooters use tied on D-loops.

why dont you get a loopy, or make one of your own, then you get away from those two bulky knots.

I think you are worrying about arrow velocity too much. It is not really that important in the whole scheme of things.

Patchy,

Why don't you space the loop so that the nock will fit in between the knots?
Otherwise it makes sense to have only one knot ie loopy. I'm thinking more for accuracy (should you twist your hand etc) than speed. What do you think?

BTW, was your avatar ever voted no1 on this forum? It should be. :P

I find i'm more accurate with that setup my release is shot dead horizontal my thumb presses against my neck musscle and my index finger on the corner of my jaw same every shot
