After a 5 month wait I finally got to play with an equaliser today, draw was short at 26" (mine is 27") birth certificate rated it at 284 fps, regular bitch to draw but once there it felt rock solid. Was both quick and quiet, but it was hard to judge the accuracy at 5m  What a ripper for short draw, junior and female archers. The riser is almost identical to the extreme vft except the limb angle is different giving the equaliser a tad more brace.

very steep draw force curve but once over the hump it falls away to near nothing, would recommend backing off a few pounds until you get used to it. Personally I dropped the arrow off the launcher the first few times I drew it.

Have you had a chance to shoot a prestige yet DWD???.
Talked to Andrew Sherman, he said if I wanted to try these bows he would bring a 27" Prestige and Equalizer to Wingen and a crono, I'm keen to stack them up side by side with my target and hunting gear through them, but would also like to see them out to 40mtrs to see what they are like for ABA/3D acuracey wise.

speed would be similar, the equaliser has an inch more brace but is 2 inches shorter and is half a pound lighter than the prestige, IMHO I believe the equaliser would be the better hunting bow, those apex7's are pretty loud and the equaliser is whisper quiet.
