Hi all,
I'm about to setup some arrows for use in target shooting (as opposed to my existing set for hunting or heavier duty work).
I have purchased some Carbontech Cheetah 400 shafts and will be shooting them from my Tomkat @ 60lb. Draw length is 29".
Q1. I have made some estimates for all the components and it seems difficult to achieve much over 5grains/lb and stay between 7%->9% FOC without adding pin nock insert to put some mass in the back end. The question is, should I be worried about going up to 11 or 12% FOC with these arrows for general purpose target shooting (ie all my target stuff) ?
Q2. What are the pros and cons of using one piece points vs inserts and screw in points ?
Q3. What points do y'all recommend ?
