I have never really used the bubble but after the recent state trial where i think i lost points at 70 because of it, i have decided i better get it right but i have a problem where i can or cant see it depending on the distance. 90 and 70 metres i cant see the bubble as its out of view of the peep, to low down, 50 metres i can see it a bit and 30 and 18 metres i can see it alright so i was wondering what can i do so i can see the bubble at all times ?
Thanks

:-? Your sighting through the peep to the scope should be constant at all distances I would have thought?

yes... but why would he listen to you? :P
anyways. dude you should set it up so that your entire scope housing is visible through the peep. if your cannot see all of your scope through the peep then try moving your sight bar out some.

Why werent you at the trial Primal! huh? huh? your absence was noted.
He should listen to me because i am cool. maybe not quite as rad as newtricks, but cool none the less.
which may not be possible depending on where your 90m setting is.
Perhaps a more appropriate peep size is in order. or if your desperate, drilling it out a bit.
One thing is for sure, it should always be in the same place. if it is changing, you could put the scope anywhere, if it moves up as you get closer, you could end up with high and low shots, depending on how much higher/lower it is in the peep. Not good.

Nope. With very small peeps, at longer distances, you see more. The strange thing about this thread is that he is experiencing the opposite.
