So I have just recently had some issues with my Apex 7. String, cable, cable guard, limb pocket noise. I took it in to see the Bow Doctor at Zen Archery in Brisbane (timmsy/apexrob). He blinged it up and put it in spec. When we dropped the bad boy on the scale, we got this for a 60# bow

On top of that at zero nocking point and 13/16ths rest from riser face (as per Mathews guidelines) it cracked out a bullet hole first shot. Shame I suck at shooting it.

No excuses for the WFAC now.

Anyone else got this close to spec poundages before?

From what I can see that's 100% let-off. :-?

So all we know is that the draw weight for a single test was 60# ... :-?

Haha. If another scale reads 63, that scale is broken. Throw it away. Nice one ladies. The Bow Doctor is the man I am afraid.

You seem afraid of seeing any other set of figures! :robot:

Do you weigh your arrows, New Tricks? And if you do, do you put them on the tray more than once?

Yesterday I shot my 1st arrow straight in the middle of X, should I then give up archery and pursue perfection in some other discipline?

Weighing arrows is done by sissys looking for excuses asa to why they missed. I just put my arrows in my quiver and away I go. You should do so too!

I had a Harley once that I tuned so that it wouldn't skip a beat, it just purred at idol. A beautiful thing for a while. Back in the 70's a buddy and myself thought of shipping ourselves and the bikes over their. We'd heard the girl to boy ratio was 3-1.

The perfect bow for me would be some ancient relic worth millions.

Good idea, as for bow I used to make this perfect shot... since you own the perfect compound I guess this is the perfect recurve, send me an e-mail if you're interested I might be willing to sell it if the price is right.
