Do you guys have this patch system down under? Here in burgerland at my weekly archery class, they "award" us those patches thingies... so for the 1st patch (Bowman) I needed 100pts (30 arrows at 20 yds), then for my (Master Bowman) I needed 150pts (this is all recurve scoring), and next week I guess I'll be going for 200 but dunno what the patch is called :P Anyway... I shot 210 and 225 the two times I went (you can't skip patches) so I'm hoping to improve enough just in time by the 250 mark, but I digress.
I was wondering what kind of respect-commading powers do those patches have in the world... I mean should I wear them proudly on my bowcase, or are they simply a gimmick justifying me paying $20 for some guy who tells me I take too long to aim?
