Go to your local ships chandlier, get some spectra I think its called. Braided outside with an inner cord. I use the green one. Different colours are different thicknesses. Cut longer than needed, pull the inner cord out, heat and flatten the ends then tie on like normal.

Dudley braid is made by BCY for John Dudley , its just a smaller diameter braid for those who like the smaller d-loop

Or maybe just made for what ever sport can use it eg marine, archery etc, but because were into archery we will call it JD rope. Just go to a marine outlet and check out the wide variety.

Thanks,
Patchy, do you know of anyone online that sells that stuff. I live in an obscure town on the edge of reality, and we dont hold with that kinda stuff around these parts.
Our boat shop would'nt have it either.
Just a product name and a supplier, if you know it, would be good.
Thanks mate,
Mark

Casino Archery has the standard BCY d-loop stuff, in roles or by length. Dudley braid would have to be orderd in

Brownell Target (Grey) is the best D-loop rope you can buy. It's softer then the BCY, yet does not wear out or stretch as much. .

2mm rope from a climbing store. It does not last a real long time but it is light and has no stretch. $10 for 10m. I have found I get about 1000 arrows out of a loop. Use string wax on it for longer use.

I got the 3' from archery supplies online.
Its nice and thin, doesnt stretch much, and holds my 70lb'er back fine.
