oh i could argue. :argue: dude ITS STILL A MARTIN  . if your interested in up-ing your budget check out a diamond its a bowtech with a single cam, and they rock. of course camo is then your only option but well worth it for the bow.

or if its the right specs check out the mcpherson edge. by all accounts an awesome bow and canga have one apparently for cheap.

Just curious...I thought the Saber was only between 50-70 pound limbs - won't this create a problem? Should you be looking at a different bow (ie PSE Nova or Browning micromidas 3 etc)? Either that or do you have a bow that you can shoot with until you get your draw weight up so that you can buy whichever bow you would like?

ive been told that martins have a 15# differance so a 50# could be 35#-50#

I was under the impression that irrespective of whether it could be done it definitely wasn't ideal...however, I don't have much technical knowledge...anyone else?

Yeah the Saber has a 15# range.
Nice bow for the money, one of the few in that range with parallel limb design.

And hand shock

i owned a martin jaguar. excellent bow when you consider the price point. sub $400 mark. however it was a shot gun. lots of shock and noise to match.
Martin have lifted there game in recent years and the sabre is one of the newer designs so chance's are the parrellal limb design will do alot to reduce the noise and shock. So nath if your budget for a bow is $500 you'd be pressed to find a bow that good for the same money. The dyna cam on the martins is actually quite good. very solid back wall and easy enough to change modules on. so if you can only afford 500 then dont worry what people say about the bow. worry what they say about your shooting. Personally if i could i would save up a few more bickies and get a bowtech or diamond liberty.....

actually just thinking of it archeryshop has the diamond justice for about $300 cheaper then regular price so they are only $585 and i am sure you could get 15# adjustment out of them, and are easily adjust able between 26-31" draw length. :o thats actually pretty amazing. Marcus had one at Urban the other day, man it was easy to draw the draw curve was very easy to handle and would probably allow you to get away with a few more pounds anyways. .. why havent i bought one of these for indoor???
diamond justice $585 (http://www.archeryshop.com.au/p/90539/diamond-justice.html)
diamond triumph $585 (http://www.archeryshop.com.au/p/90562/diamond-triumph-camo.html)

if you can find a dimond dealler in your state give em a call to see if you can try one. other wise the triumph it can come in at 40# limbs too i am pretty sure.

Ive shot the sabre, dont believe some of the crap you here on this site, they shoot just fine and are excellent value for money. You may also wish to consider this:

DWD how did you find the hand shock and loudness of the bow.. is it that bad or what

primal

dwd, i agree, i just reckon nathan would get better value out of a diamond especialy at the discount they can currently be bought for at archeryshop. especially if your on a 500ish budget, otherwise if your budget is $1200 i'd recommend a bowtech allegiance or a pearson gen II.

either way blue is still the colour to choose for your bow. unless you can only get camo ;)

That's standard...that's why I have always gotten someone else to do it for me ;)
