How many entries will we get across the country for the National indoor?

Is that for recurve or compound  ;)

Total across all classes, divisions, sexes and states.

Oh I thought the 501+ was just for the recurve man division;)

As I have already wagered all my Vcash, I cannot bet here but I am guessing probably 40 adults across all divisions and probably all of the juniors as most will be up for medals no matter what they shoot. 120 all up.
edit, well I still had 25 left so it seems. 25/1, I like those odds.
Lets be serious here. How many adult archers are going to pay the additional entry to place 32nd in their division. I reckon that only die hards and people who think they have a chance will pay the second fee.

Like I said, 180. LOL. I think you are tainting the betting by telling us that however.

Oi! Hang on. The bookie has changed the rules.
The first tote made an open offer, and I accepted the odds on offer by placing a bet. I have now got my money back and that tote has been cancelled.
Gees, vcontract law has been shot to sh*t from this ruling!

3rd July.
It states it above the graphs in the blue bar.

I scroll down immediatly from the first page, without reading it, except where the money is going.
I now need to research vlaw to see whether your actions might invalidate a vcontract, having regard to the previously offered tote. Please be on notice that I will challenge your vdecision of withdrawal of an offer after presenting it to the vpublic, which had the potential vconsequence of substantial losses on my vbehalf, and also a substantial proportion of the AF vcommunity.
Should you not offer vreasonable compensation for my, and others, potential vlosses, then vclass vaction will be comenced against AF.
Oh. Bugger. I now see Channel Nine will hog the courts for years, so, just get on with it.
:-D

I am sorry Frommy but know I will not help someone that has what sounds like a serious problem ;) Maybe the Chamber Magistrate would be the person to get advice from. I know that there are organisations that can help with such a problem. ;)

I never actually looked at an entry but is it compulsory to enter both the State and National at each venue? Can you elect to shoot the state only or is it all one fee?

Why don't you look at an entry and find out?
I'm sure it's not compulsory to enter either actually...

Depends on the state.

No it is not. To enter the State you pay the compulsory fee of (approx) $30-$35. To enter the Nationals you pay the extra $5 that goes to AA. It is fairly clear, if you had the form (can be found on the AA website).

I stand corrected - that information is correct for Vic :)

Hah. I note that in SQAS, I would have had no choice but to enter the nationals as well. This brings into line the false interest that I spoke of before. I also note it is about half half from state to state as to when it is compulsory. Pretty piss weak as usual.
Will be interesting to see if state participation increases in the 'compulsory' states.
Marcus

In Vic it is optional and around 98% have entered both. At DVA it is 100%.

Why would you enter the state indoor titles and not the National indoor titles if it's only an extra $5??

Maybe because you're trying to make a statement, and think people will notice and care? :p

'Why would you enter the state indoor titles and not the National indoor titles if it's only an extra $5??'
That's what we figured in SQAS, and didn't give the option.

Cartainly a smarter way of doing it. It's much less hassle on the organisers to do it that way.
