Gooday,
It was pointed out to me that my bow jumps up after the shot. At the moment I have a 28" Cartel stabiliser up front. No "V" bars etc.
It was suggested that my grip should be built up so as to give me a higher wrist position. Will this help?
Many thanks.................Lawrence

I have tri star wheels on my bow, larger one on top. Could this effect the bow jump?
Thanks.............Lawrence

add more weight to the end. The Barnsdale is a deflex riser that requires more weight out the front.

Adding weight to the front end creates a pendulum which can be hard to control. Instead, add an extender between the rod and the bow. 28" is pretty short so try a 3 or 4 inch extender.

Maybe (im not 100 percent on this) your put too much presure on the lower part of the grip by the lower part of your hand, can anyone correct me if im wrong.
Is the bow jumping vertically up or is the bottom cam kicking forwards after the shot?

Lawrence...it is all in the balance and stabilisation....i have found that my 'Barnie' responds to a perfect balance when held between your finger tips.
Having said that..i have considerable back weight and a reasonably heavy front stab.
The perfect outcome is to have the bow jump forward..into your fingertips upon release...directly towards the target.
Hope this helps...and questions...please PM me.

hmm. creation of pendulums would effect the same whether you extend the existingweights or you add extra weights.
because the pendulum/swing effect depends on the moment (moment=forceX distance from the pivot).
hence, whether you add to the force(extra weights) or you increase the length, theoratically it should effect in adding extra moment, which would mean extra swing.
i'm speaking from my knowledge of mechanics, because i'm now doing a module on it right now.
but i'm not sure if doing either makes a difference. I suppose adding weights would make it swing faster, and adding an extender would make the swing start a bit later because it takes time for the weight to accelerate down and make a difference. But for this part i'm not sure yet. i'll have to consult my lecturer :) but if you ask me now, i'd say doing either would be good enough.
just my $0.02.
cheers
