Just curious to know what the 'buddy' thingo does?
Did a search to see whether anyone else happened to have been curious on the matter and nothing came up.

It doesnt seem to do much, a name just appears on your buddy list when you add it.

Yeah - that was why I was asking...what is the point? Thanks for confirming my suspicions!

It has to do with messaging and who you recieve messages from and send them to I think.

The buddy list is used to keep track of the friends you have made on this forum. By going to your "My vB Home", you'll be able to see which of your friends are currently online, and be able to send them a private message. Adding people to your buddy list also allow you to send private messages to multiple forum members at the same time. You may add any member of the forums to your buddy list by clicking this button in a member's posts.

Ignore lists are used for those people who's messages you wish not to read. By adding someone to your ignore list, those messages posted by these individuals will be hidden when you read a thread.
There.

I'd rather have a little trophy beside my username than a buddy.

:-D Those games are hell!!! I have a suspicion that Jason who's top on that copter game has a slow computer. On my souped up system, I could get past a few hundred. Faster the system, faster the game goes.

ahh well crank out the old 486 you have put away for a rainy day. :p

or run a virtual pc with reduced specs and se how you go.

I did that with CPU Killer for a few minutes but when I did a System CPU Usage check, it irked me not to know what that software was tormenting my CPU with. :(

ps. That was how I got the measly few hundreds. Guess my reflexes are too slow for that copter game.

If you've got a modern/laptop CPU you could just force the clockspeed to it's slowest setting. Still might not be slow enough for this beast though...

I played a bit with the overclocking settings in the BIOS to UNDERclock the thing. Right you are, Archie. No way to get it slow enough.

By the way, I think with a 486, it'd take like a few days to get to Jason's score. You can basically throw a few kisses to your lady while waiting for the next wall in the copter game.

Can trophies be bought with vCash? :-D

This does not work for posts from any person given any sort of Admin/Moderator status on any thread I regret to advise.
