View Full Version : heavy vs light ???
which one would be better for indoor type of shoot? heavy poundage bow or light poundage bow?
thanks
For indoor compound I think a light bow is supposed to be the way to go, because you don't need the speed and the light bow means you can aim steadier.

im not to sure if the lighter poundage will make aiming much diferent.
but with the lighter draw you wont get tiered and this should make it far easier to shoot great scores.
no need for high poundage as ther is no wind to effect arrows flight.

The advantage of the lighter bow is that you will have greater stamina. The advantage of the heavier bow is that it will be more forgiving. However, being at 18m is already plenty forgiving IMO, so stamina would be more important to me. But I would just shoot my regular outdoor bow anyway.
