I recently purchased a 6X scope (single dot) for my target bow. I am having problems with focusing on the target at 20 yards. I can see clearly at around 5 to 10 yards but when I sight on something further away the image is blurry. I do wear glasses and I am going to the Doc to see if he has a solution. Any one out there know a trick so I can use the sight? Thanks.

LL,

Do you use a small holed peep sight.Sometimes it'll go blurry if the peeps too big.

It is a common problem for higher powered lenses. Your glasses could be compounding the problem. I have found that up to 4x is fine with a standard peep (I use a 1/8" Meta Peep) but went to a super peep with a clarifier for 6x power lense.

Don't worry about it, just aim for the middle of the blurry yellow thing.

HELL Marcus, You're just given away our most gaurded secert, now everybody will know, wow what sport can we take up next???

LL Angus, Play with peep sizes, many others shoot with glasses and 6x scopes

Keep away from clarifiers if you can, you will pay the price for using one if it rains or is very humard., the other thing that will affect clarity is how far out from your bow your sight is..
