Just got the word that John Dudley has resigned from Mathews due to a difference of opinion......

Due to an overwhelming amount of calls and emails and forum discussions I would like to issue the following statement:

Archery for me started a long time ago. I love it! I really love it! There are a few things I love more that others. I love to compete, I love to coach, and I love to talk to crowds.

Several weeks ago I had to make a choice, which would cause to either eliminate or NOT to eliminate these three passions. I have bled Black and Gold for 50% of my life, shot Black and Gold 50% of my career, sold black and gold 30# of my life. I did not want to leave Mathews Archery. I still do not in my heart and they know this. However, they have made the decision to move the sales support more internal at the company. Internal sales are just not me. I want to be in the field with my shooters, my dealers, well my friends. There was no longer an option for me to work that way and represent that way.

The easiest way to describe the separation between myself and Mathews was simply a difference in opinion. I am officially on the market to ALL company
