Normie, if somebody wanted the bow with the original limbs(60#) and spirals, I may be interested in the 50# limbs and cam & 1/2s.

robbo, I think you need to ask your Hoyts dealer, who has the information, what poundage 58#deflection would make your bow. i.e 70lb. XT2000 limbs on my Ultra Elite, became 62lb. when transfered to my Pro Elite.

Robbo; not sure what bow just know they were 50# on the ultraelite and that they are 58 deflection... sounds like they may be 60# on an ultratec according to a post on archery talk, whether the vintage of the bow makes a difference I don't know... agree with wareagle, might pay to give a hoyt dealer a call
Enlightened One: $120 delivered for the cam 1/2's....

Normie
I have checked with someone very cluey on hoyts and the 50 deflection will give around 50# on an Ultratec with the E-5 Cam & 1/2, and a little less with a spiral.
With the model, the main thing I am interested in is the year model, whether pre 03 or 03 +.
The reason being, I have an as new 03 Ultratec that I wish to put the limbs on,( to suit one of my sons) and want to try and keep it in the same general condition.

I asked on the Archery Learning Centre forum and it looks like the 58# deflection will give me 50# on the Ultratec.
