yeah, afterall, single cams took off, and the compound was wacky to begin with.
I'm seriously thinking about getting one purely as a toy to muck around with, I think with a few mods to the riser, maybe reproduce it with carbon fiber and kevlar it could turn out a very tasty toy. I'll keep you all posted !

yeah I'ld love one to play with, would also love an Oneida Eagle as well. Something different.
I would not recommend anyone to try the Oneida is you are far away from USA.
Very low reliability and you need to wait for parts to arrive(if you are far away from USA).
I suffered losses (in $$, time and opportunity to win Competition) shooting the Oneida Pro.

I owned one of these (the Intensity model) from August 2002 until just a few weeks ago. Very nice bow to shoot (well I thought so...shut up Coach). Poor sod was so envious he hid it in the bushes at Shellharbour...
You can actually go to 100% letoff, but *that* aint fun. Whisper quiet. No joke, bloody silent to shoot.
Very 'hand made'. Not anywhere near as well finished as any mass produced bow.
Not the fastest bow around however, and when I felt the need for speed the FBT was cast aside for a Bowtech. Such is life.... :D

Now you've done it ! No way in the world was "I" envious! I saw the way you shot with it! But maybe that was just you and not the bow.
I hid it so you would see the light and buy a "real" bow! :D
Good to see you did buy "something" that resembles a real bow

Of course it was me and *not* the bow, you idiot. Anybody with a bent stick and a rubber band can out shoot me! Even you could be a star with a Discovery bow.
Nice Avatar BTW. The resemblance is uncanny. :o

Oh BTW "hand made " is the operative word here! Fibreglass strands sticking out of the limbs and a "really" rough finish just screamed HANDMADE!

Oho! I gets it now. You can't even tell the difference between fibreglass and carbon. :o

Someone was trying to flog one locally on Ebay lately and was passed in twice with a $599 starting bid. Actually it would make a very nice hunting bow due to its servicability in the field and its quietness. As there is no local agents it wouldnt be hard to import one and as they pack up small and can be easily reassembled there may be a market on a small level (depends on price) BTW they are now sold by Firebrand Technologies

I sold mine for $400 and threw in some arrows, Bodoodle Pro 500 rest and a Tru-fire release. Bloody good deal if you ask me. :)
Cost me a good deal more to import it however. Back in '02 the Aussie dollar wasn't so hot against the US dollar.
If anybody is looking for a hunting bow or a bowfishing rig, you could do a lot worse. The warranty is a ripper. 5 years unlimited warranty which includes deliberate abuse. No joke. You could drive a truck over it and they'd fix it. If it broke that is.

Err..coach, the outboard limbs are made from carbon composite. The power limbs are nylon over carbon fibre composite.

If you had bothered to read my first response you would have noted that I *did* say thet weren't finished that well. Being the fairest of them all won't make ANY bow shoot any better. It's very sad that you can't see past the superficial qualities.
