I believe to keeop it fare the jnr nats organises should say right we will have it here next yr there next yr and who cares about the miney made any questions.

Well yes they should make money but i over heard people saying were not having it because we dont wont to loose money and we wont make enough money it's abbout shooting my i remiond you.

Not that simple I'm afraid.
I forcast the costs etc for DVA running the Jrs and told the club to stay well away from it in it's current format.
The problems were:
Not enough competitors
Same costs as running the seniors
Too long. 8-9 day event is about 4-5 too many.
No profit.

For our club members to get somethng out of running eth shoot we simply must make a profit. Not a large one, but the club has to get a benifit from it.
Also we physically could not run clout. We would have needed a ground 200m square to do it and there simply is nothing that big around here.

As it was we ran the Trans Tasmen and receive no entry fees for doing so from AA.

Yes now i do agree that the profits are importnet but some clubs would only do it for a LARGE AMOUNT OF $$$$
