As you probably know Twin City Archers Gippsland will be hosting the Victorian State Target Championship later this month. For those that have visited the club before expect to see some fairly major changes. We have turned the target range around so that it now points North-South and can accomodate a long shooting line. I think we will be running with three archers per butt but don't quote me on that. We have also built new semi permanent butts that will service about half the field, the rest being portables.
But the big news is ....... flushing toilets! Yes we have had our first ceremonial flush last weekend. Us country folk get pretty excited about these new fangled inventions.
Unfortunately with all the working bees that have been going on none of us have had time to shoot and the club looks like only having about five representatives in the event.
I hope all you Victorian shooters make the effort to get down here. As always we will have lots of fun and there should be a function organised for the Saturday night. We can advise on accomodation if you are looking for somewhere to stay.
