Yup think that'll be a go'er for me, Congrats on the choice of round. It's not so long a round as to put people off like a fita round would and 10 bucks entry thats very good !

Garath
That's cool, hope you are shooting well, look forward to seeing you there. R U shooting the Short Range titles?

Pat
Ummm If the AV website was up I could tell you. I think about 13 AA clubs plus about the same ABA clubs. DVA is the only dual club.

Nah I'm not shooting the short range titles, I'm not into putting scores together right now, it'll only depress me !!! I figure if I can concentrate on my form now the scores will come later, I don't wanna hand in average scores now and then get ****ty coz it wasn't great, thats why I figure I'll do your shoot in may, that'll give me a few months and I might suprise myself by having a decent score card at the end of the day ! How about yourself, are you shooting the short range ?

Yeah I will be, although not the Geelong field as I'm in a major slump right now. My shoulder injury really put me back to where I was this time last year. So although I'm shooting it I don't expect much from it.
My state target was woeful (2460 for both days) so it's back to the drawing board and working hard.
Yeah don't rush it, get yourself confident and the rest will come. (or so I've been told :rolleyes )

I believe that ABA will be allowed to shoot it as our insurance use to cover it. However with all the current issues with insurance right now I am not sure. Why not become a AV shooter too and enjoy archery in all it's forms? You'ld kick butt in AV!!! :)

Hi Bruce, how areyou...?

On the subject of joining AV as well as ABA I've got three things to say...

1. I have, and it lets me shoot whatever I want whenever I want wherever I want.

2. I think it is a great shame that we have to do this (join two associations) to be able to shoot in all forms of archery. I would love to one day somehow see one governing body for all.

3. I think you joining AV as well as ABA in your current position as Greater Vic Branch controller for ABA might help send the message that some of us actually are interested in more than one form of archery, contrary to many opinions.

Thanks,

Luke.
