Have had bad rep given to me and I take it ,BUT what if it aint deserved ? I personally think it stinks . (dont ban me ) as I stated once before ,, you have no right of reply . I also had rep points and made one good rep reply and now I have none , whats the go with that?

All of the times that I have had neg rep given to me have been undeserved - or just don't make sense. It is all part and parcel of it. Most people on here give away positive rep for nothing (making some dirty comment...or posting some chick on the archery babe of the year). If people (and I am not saying anyone in particular - I don't know who does and doesn't...that is why it is confidential) are willing to accept pos rep points for anything and everything, then the reverse is valid too.

Not a go...just the whole system is fickle and the good comes with the bad. This is not used as a measure of character or anything (as far as I know).

This is not used as a measure of character or anything (as far as I know).
But some will take it as such :cool: And being on the internet it is world wide and not a good thing .
Personally I dont give a rats as everyone knows I am an asshole :D But in general it is not fair to most , in fun or otherwise . Makes me wonder how Admin would feel if they were made out to be " An unknown quantity at this point . " ETC
Painting people in a bad way to the public is not good regardless if it is in "fun" or otherwise !

I think his high reputation is due in large to the date he joined plus his 9000+ posts. It's 1 point per 100 posts so he's already gotten 90+ points from there alone.

No, I had one a while back that was certainly meant to be positive (unless Frenchie made a mistake ;-)) - I think it means that they have no ninja power so it's had no effect.
