A pretty stupid thing to put in what is normaly a fairly reputable newspaper.
Anyone got any ideas what I should do with my last few hours alive? some mates thought it would be good to get a bank loan and have a huge night on the town like the dude in the armogetten movie did :D

The banks are going to take more than 4 hours to approve your loan and even if they approved it in an hour, that's even worse because you're going down with lots of unspent money. :D
armogetten
Is that the Norwegian spelling for Armageddon?

I'm pretty sure I could get rid of the money in a couple of hours down at Alexandra's :D

The pair say the earthquake will strike "out of the blue" and cause widespread death, shut down power generators, create tsunamis within New Zealand and overwhelm emergency services.
Sorry to point out the bleeding obvious, but when previously have we had any warning of an earth quake?
"Attention San Fransisco residents: Please make your way in an orderly manner to another part of the country as this part is about to be torn apart by a massive earth quake."
The only thing "out of the blue" was this article.

I'm suprised we haven't heard from Brocky about how much of a better place the world will be with a few less Kiwi's! :D

I'm also surprised we haven't felt the repurcussions of the expected "out of the blue" earthquake :)

Not quite a precise science yet. And depends on how much 'warning' you want ;).
Perhaps they used 'tomorrow' in a more general sense.
