Yeah thanks for that my wife is just starting out and it was suggested to start with somthing lighter to work on that technique, we where looking at the equalizer or a hoyt selina but we thought we would see if anyone had a secound hand bow tostart with and after a while move to a new one but well always open to suggestion.
Cheers

you might want to get a 40# bow and crank it down to 30. the as she improve her form you can crank it up in 2-3# increments as she gets comfy with the new weight.
the equaliser is the best bow on the market for a sort draw archer. and if your wife gives the sport up it will have a good resale value.
if i here of anything second hand. i will let you know.

Yeah thanks for all the advice guys its great ... I do think the Bow tech is a good way to go suprising that I shoot an allegiance myself, Charlotte wants a "nice" looking bow lol what that means im not sure but she seems to like the bowtech and the hoyt, I will get her to look at the alpine to see what she thinks ... and cheers I do appreciate the input

Second the Alpine, we have a female archer shooting one at 15# draw due to an injury, it still spits out the arrows at that draw weight. If she wants 'pretty' cant go past this one:
