I was shot three deer this in 2002 and did'nt get a complete pass thru on any of them. I was shooting a SQ-2 @ 70# & 29 '' draw thru a double bull t-2 blinds mesh . The lastest deer was 140# has any one else had penatration problems thanks
I posted it in this section by mistake if someone knows how to move it or delete it I would repost in in bow hunting thanks

hey oscarg, this is probably not the right section to be discussing these issues, There is a bowhunting section on this forum.
That said I would be looking at my arrow flight if I were you, It is well known that the arrow flying straight delivers far more energy than an arrow doing funny things in the air, check it out.
Your setup should be lethal, and should have no probs achieving passthroughs on soft skin game like deer.

Plan to use the g5 in April will post results
Had a complete pass through on the rib cage of a hog deer with a Darton/Great Lakes Durango xbow 23" 2219 125grn Montec at 25metres
Great b/head pitty they are so expensive.

Was looking at some of these broadheads. Pretty well made, but rivals the X10 Tungstun in price. How are they going BBS? Still well?
Marcus I haven't used them since, I have no complaints about them other than the price
I'm still waiting for the guy to make a similar head here in Aus for a lot less.

I have been shooting the G5 for a week now doing some testing. The head flies like a dart and spins true on any arrow I have put them on so far. The design in this head is awesome and it penetrates very well. The only draw back is having to resharpen after each use, but that is no major deal
