Hi guys,
Is it time to part with the one in your cupboard that you've been holding onto for four years "just in case you don't like the aerotec"? I'd like to introduce to you a new initiative known as the Hoyt Avalon Adoption Program (HAAP). It is the belief of those involved in the program that all Avalons are wonderful and beautiful souls, and even though their competitive life may be over they can still find a new home and become a man's best friend.
I promise any Avalon will go to a good home, where it will be loved and cared for and well looked after.
If anyone has any idea where i can find one, i'd love to hear from them. I'm after another Avalon plus to replace the one that was snatched away from me last weekend in the cruelest of circumstances.
Cheers
Chris

I recently sold an absolutly mint fade light ble 25" Avalon Plus to a female club member. If you can find a nice light 25" ILF comparable riser perhaps she will swap as she hasn't used it yet

that sounds very doable. what sort of bow would she want? exclusively hoyt or anything quality?

Head to the McIntyre River, Goondiwindi Queensland. The old Bridge
Hire some submersibles and you may just find my whole kit (near new Avalon+) in there somewhere.
Proff Park can tell you how much that kind of gear will rot over 10 years :)

I don't want to sound too picky, but i think your avalon may have finally found it's final resting place 2dogs. Also, rusty brown's not so much my colour.

That would be quite a difficult task, Chris, most that have used an avalon find it hard to let go ;)

Aluminium doesn't rust ;) Also, aluminium oxide (the coating you get when you anodise) is very hard. The riser could be in mint condition!

Horribly satisfying for the first few minutes, ain't it? Have yet to chuck a bow but I'm on the Wanted list for smashing computers and mobile phones.

I did chemistry too. But like any good student as soon as I walked out of the exam I forget everything I learned over the past year.

Is still oxidises, and depending on the conditions, can surpass the passivation potential. Different oxidation conditions have different oxidation curves, and can be very different from Room Temperature, atmospheric conditions...

You know you're going to regret not getting the helix!!
But it'll be great to see you back on the line again, despite your bad taste in bows.
the avalon is the spare DD, the helix will be the main one *wink*

and maybe the helix can be the spare just in case the ultratec doesn't work *wink*
if i had to wait as long for a helix as you did ja, i don't think id be shooting again until next winter would i?
ah but you are right handed, so the process would be quicker
so next autumn?

Mine took a couple of weeks... where did you order yours from? :-o
i ordered mine just prior to the american summer, so i wouldnt blame them if they concentrated on their compound production, as annoying as it was
