I have redone the DVA site. It's been cut down a fair bit mainly due to the amount of information on here now. Check it out, let me know what you think.

Good clean look. Its great!! My comments for what they are worth.

Looks fine for a member but I doubt if someone just starting would work out that they need to go to "about DVA" then "Joining DVA" Is the site meant to be a promotional tool? if so then clearer instructions would help.

Is there a calender with all the club dates & activities? It worries me that the AV/ABA divide continues, a single calender would at least let everyone know what is going on.

I really like the "target team" photos. Something similar for all club members would be good.

Could we have a "field" section. I know this is heresy but I really don't see a lot of difference between the various comps down on the field course, even 3D is the same with lumpy targets. They are all different to actual bow hunting. I may be on my own with this suggestion.

Thanks for that Alan.
I'll leave the seperation between target ABA and 3D. for now. Keep an eye on the front page where it is broken into Club, Target and Field
The calendar is something I will work on, will take time.
Yep I need to improve the navigation, thanks.

Will keep working on it.

Marcus the combined calender that I was thinking of would only include things held at the club. Hopefully this would be more manageable.

The competition section seems to only have results. Perhaps comp results would be a better heading???

No because it also has entry forms and current ladders etc. The comps.dva.asn.au site is the one stop competitive shop! Includes the Target Champ etc etc.

Internally we don't run any ABA shoots, part of the reason for our lack of ABA regular attendance.

Oh yeah, if you want to see your photo on the tournament team, better start shooting tournaments. :D I will do a 3D team too.

Its not my face I want to see!!!

No ABA shoots. Why??

Because someone has to organise them and so far no one has. I'm too busy to worry about what the ABA shooters are doing, 3D is one thing, but ABA is another and end of the day I'ld rather shoot target than do the grunt work there.
3 years ago we didn't have target shoots either, and only about 4 regular target shooters. It makes a huge difference but someone on eth ABA side needs to step up and do something about it.

LOL well you can't please everyone!!
I was getting tired of the old one, plus I needed to accomodate having three major news items on the front, so moving away from the side nav suited that better. Also having the different archers on the top, while cool, was very time consuming to do. I need to add the reviews section though, looks better now with a white backgroud.
