Word has it they are here now, has anyone had the opportunity to shoot one? At least they got the price right at under $700AU.

They are sweet to shoot, but a little top heavy.
For under $700 they are a good deal.

define 'sweet' please, Im thinking of people that have not shot parrallel limbed bows before and would find this bow and the Fred Bears affordable. Actually could you hear to head compare the Bengal with the Bear Instinct and Element and the Jennings Strike then publish the results here please?

I have found the Martin Bengal to be very nice to shoot with very little vibration felt through the hand and very little recoil. The parallel limbs also make this bow very quite to shoot. It feels much slower than it shoots, because of being smooth to shoot and with an IBO of 310fps, it is no slouch. The weight of the bow takes it out of the ladies preferred bow range plus being a little top heavy. But you don't notice or feel that it is top heavy at full draw or during the shot. It rolls forward after the shot very nice.

How do they compare with the Bear and Jennings bows?

The Bengal shoots and feel better than the Bear Element, but the Bear Element is $200 less than the Bengal. The Instinct is a much shorter bow and being lighter it will be a good hunting bow. The Bear Code is the pick of the Bear bows being longer A to A and the new cam, very nice and smooth to shoot and under a $1000. The Jennings Strike is a great new bow, as many of the parallel bows are, it is a pleasure to shoot. The Reliant is a little longer A to A and you will see these around the 3D ranges in 2007. Have a shot of the Reliant and you will like it to. Both Jennings under a grand.
