I had to come to Australia to find word about the Archery Talk forum being down. Even the ArcherySite forum is down. So you folks can expect to host some refugee input until Washington state dries out.
So thanks for the hospitality!

Scramble the patrol boats and planes...
I get the feeling that a bunch of AT refuges in rickety boats are about to hit our shores.
Seriously thought, Welcome... this is a great site. I am only a newbie here and I now come here before AT.

If you now try the www.archerytalk.com home page you get a RedHat Enterprise linux Test Page saying: "The fact that you are seeing this page indicates that the website you just visited is either experiencing problems, or is undergoing routine maintenance".
I believe this is even worse than the "page not available" sign... should we get worried just about now?
edit: Thanks you guys for hosting us refugees! :)

Not if i can help it. I knew we brought the "detention centre" add-on software for a reason!
Round 'em up process 'em and lock 'em away for a while.
Then after 5 years we'll flip a coin to decide if they can stay. Heads and you get $100 and a map to the nearest city to make your fortune. Tails and you're on the next boat home.
I, as the found member of the political party "One Forum", say this is the only fair way of protecting the rights of our existing forum members.

There is a real threat to AF here.
Set your software to screen out the Diehard Blowie extremists:hail: http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r182/MJB5425/btlogosmall.jpg:cheer: ...
Those guys are a serious threat to our way of life!!!

More bad news, now the home page reads:
ArcheryTalk.com is be refurbed.
Due to a boot sector failure on AT's harddrive, AT is being rebuilt and will be back as soon as possible. We're on it, we promise.
Thank you for your patience.
