does anyone know what the state record for 18mt FITA indoor is in Queensland (inner ten scores,120/60 arrows)
what about other states? how do their records stand up.

No idea. Our state only shoots Aust 1 indoor so we have no way of knowing how well we do against the rest of the world.

Aust1 indoor? is that outer ten score zone.
we shoot this at our club every Wed night, last night I shot 292-296-291-293 for 120 arrows.

Yep that's the one. Nice consistant shooting.

We are shooting IFAA right now at our club, otherwise it's Aust 1.

Personally I would like to see FITA 1 shot at competitions in Victoria, however most just complain that it's harder.

oh it's definetly harder alright. we only shoot FITA 1 at the state titles.
sorts the men out from the boys soon enough.

There is no Major record for a FITA 1 for Victoria. Maybe you should claim yours from the masters Jim.
The minor record is 600 shot by W Tumiati at M.A.C in 1994

That would be Aust 1 not FITA 1. I'ld eat my sock if Wally shot a 600 on the inner 10. (no offence to Wally, that's just incredible shooting to do it on the inner 10) It may still referred to as the FITA 1 because the FITA 1 use to use the outter 10.

Still 600 on the outter 10 is bloody good!

600 for an Australian 1 is damn good shootin too Marcus - its out of 300!! :o

Do you have AV State Records for a Double Australian 1 perhaps?? :-? :)

I believe Adam Richards has the State Record for the FITA1 shot at our State titles last year. It was 294

Clare could confirm it but I think that would be a National record to.

He's shot 4 rounds and Shot over 290 for all of them....294,293,292,291.........I think.

All I know is he shot a world class score..................the Bastard  ..I came second.

We took note of how we were scoring on the old ten ring. Adam dropped 3 points .........not bad for 4 rounds...the SOB

Poor little (???) doggie. Isn't it frustrating when your least favourite person outshoots you !

Paul,

Please tell Adam that its not a national record......its 296

I shot this at the 1997 National indoors in Melbourne. Scored (292-295-294-296) 1177. 1199 on the outer 10

2Dogs.....Australian 1 is 30 arrows no inner 10 for any division, FITA 1 is 60 arrows with inner 10 for compounds only...... :o

I'm at work 8) so don't have the AA Record database to check but according to the out of date info on the AA website the AA Tournament record for an Australian 1 is 300 - Bernie Andrews and Jim Park are equal holders. (Guess in this case that the website is not current is irrelevant :-? as 300 can't be beaten.)

FITA 1 AA Record for Open Men is 590 - held by Clint Freeman.

And of course I need to mention that the FITA 2 and Combined FITAs are held by another esteemed AF member..........have a look........

You mean Brynley?? :-? I have typed that name often!!

He holds heaps of AA Records - both Nationals and Tournament ones. :D Those earlier ones were Tournament records - the Nationals ones can only be shot at National Championships and are listed here:

Wow, these are some impressive scores!
while we're on the subject, what would the FITA 900 record be for each state. I guess clint would have shot an 890+ score! :o

what score would 2 dogs and AR(Kubota) have shot in comp.

Clare Barnes

South Australian Records (these can be shot at club shoots by the way) for FITA 900 rounds:

883 - Mens Compound - David Balmer
854 - Mens Recurve - David Barnes
856 - Womens Compound - Sue Martin
816 - Womens Recurve - Marianne Rieckmann (just a few weeks ago)

ArcherySA ones can always be found at:

http://au.geocities.com/archerysa/frames.html

Then into Awards, then Records....... :D

I shot an 879 FITA 900 for mens compound yesterday.
I was just wondering how it would compare, I believe the QLD record is 885? If anyone knows otherwise please, burst my little bubble.

I have never shot a fita 900 in competition. I have shot 891 at a club shoot about 7 years ago. Might have to give a go again some time cause it is a fun round

Marcus

We are holding a FITA 900 comp at DVA in July, however our record is 883 I think so that will be tough to beat.

Jim you shot 572, Just send me a claim form for the FITA 1 & I will put it In for you.

The 600 score for the Fita 1 Minor Record is in the database. It was entered before my time so I cannot say if it is correct. Maybe someone from MAC could check into it for Me.
