Scope Power

I'm shooting Compound Unlimited division. I would like to know how others decide on the power of their scope. I recently tried an X8 and I was able to see the gold real well - maybe too good, because it felt like I was aiming at a moving target.

I experiment with mine. I like to shoot a 4x indoor, however if it's gusty outside or I'm not shooting well I will move to a 2x. The 4X requires a little more practise than the 2X, however it makes me focus more. Next will be to try a 6X and see how I go.

If it looks like the target is moving all over the place, try concentrating on the target and letting the dot/ring sort of move around. You might find that easier to aim with.
