Hi, to state the obvious, this is my first post to this forum. I have been browsing for a while and am impressed with the depth of knowledge and friendliness of answers. I am also as new to archery as I am to this group, so am truly a begginer. This means I have a lot to learn but not much to offer.

Could any one please tell me what the advantages of different fiber optic sight pin diameters is? I have seen some sights, particularly the spot hogg, which give a choice of .029 or .019.(presumably inches)

Hope I am not posting an old repeated question.

Thanks,
Nick

When using pin sights you may find with thick pins that you get them too close together and lead to blocking most of your target. Smaller pins allow them tp get closer together and allow you to see more of what you are aiming at.

However you may find them too hard to see.
