What did people do for Oz day?
Who cares about the day, or is it just a good excuse to do the other things you like doing on a day off?

Long weekend at my mate's beachside home in Tasmania.
Aussie Flag flying.
Good food, wine and company.
Preceded by three days in Melbourne taking in a spot of tennis.

My first child was born on Australia day so every year we have a birthday party for her, today was #14, AND we had a full size Australian flag flying, (don't get me started on that Big Day Out flag ban fiasco.....)
Is there an option for all of the above?
...

Is there an option for those UnAustralian people like me, or Aussies who would even consider betting on the other team? :p

I am not sure how you fit it all in Liam? BBQ, TV, work, bonking, flag waving and protesting. Then finish it off by cleaning your room then leaving for a holiday, where you bashed anyone who looked like their aren't into archery.
What about spending whole day working on my ute n drinking beer....or was that working on my beer n drinking my ute???? Oh, I can't remember...I'm going back to bed... :silly:
Can ya get more Aussie than that? ;)

I was driving up in a car to Canberra to shoot...so the only option for me was "a long weekend - I'm outta here"...which is not entirely accurate...nevertheless, that will be what I will be doing forever more on this weekend :)
Coincidentally, it was a great shoot :D

2 Iraqis emigrated to Australia. Upon arriving one says to the other. Lets meet in excactly one year and see who is the most Australian by then. Agreed said the other and they went there seperate ways.
12 months later they meet at the designated spot and the first guy asks the other, Well, how aussie are you mate.... No wukkas came the reply. Just took the billy lids to footy in the dunnydore and had a pie and a beer on the way.
How about you? **** off raghead! came the reply.
