Does anyone know how you go about becoming a Level 1 archery coach? What is the process and costs and restrictions???

I'd suggest speak to either your clubs coaches and/or secretary. Failing that give your state's coaching admin a buzz

I am interested in this as well. I was going to start a thread on the subject before.

Our club has no coach. I was also thinking if you are not a coach and you help or advise a new archer and some thing happens, you may not be covered by insurance as a coach would.

I know there is only a small chance of this, but a small chance is too much.

In your case Robbo, give Terry Barnhurst a ring. He runs courses in Bathurst on a regular basis once he has the numbers. Cost is $100. It goes for 2 days, usually held on a weekend. If you want his phone number let me know.

Hi Aaron!
You've only JUST missed a level 1 course here in Sth Qld. Peter Macey had one organised this weekend (22nd & 23rd) though was organised for Corporate Coaches.
Give him a call - his phone number is in the magazine.
How is Roma anyway? SHOULD have been out there this week - but stuck at home with the flu - great eh!
take care

 Look in 'Archery Action with Outdoor Connections'. Peter Macey's phone number is listed on the lead page in the ABA newletter section.

If you're a member of ABA you can just contact your Branch Officer (Sue Green is the Sth Qld rep) and she can help you arrange to attend a course. Her number is also in the magazine.

okay .......take care
